It all started with a problem at GoShaka, our first business. Thomas, one of the founders, was fed up with the time-consuming process of manually importing invoices and validating whether all the data was correct. It was tedious, error-prone, and inefficient. He thought, “There has to be a better way.”

Meanwhile, Florian, with his expertise in Hyperautomation, had recently helped a company solve a similar issue using a Large Language Model (LLM). That’s when the spark hit: What if we could combine multiple LLMs and build a simple, automated system to handle data validation and extraction? This could help not only us but also countless businesses facing the same challenge.

As we started brainstorming, the ideas began to flow. More use cases emerged, and the excitement grew. What started as a solution to a single problem turned into a whole suite of possibilities—entr (short for “enter”) was born.
